15/08/2014

(VOV) -Fraser & Neave Dairy Investments Pte Ltd, owned by Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, has tendered an offer to acquire an additional 15 million shares of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk).

Fraser & Neave Dairy Investments Pte Ltd plans to purchase Vinamilk shares from August 15 to September 13 to become the largest foreign stockholder of Vinamilk, which is coded VNM on the local stock market.

Fraser & Neave Dairy Investments Pte Ltd is listed on Singapore’s stock market, with a focus on food and beverage.

Born in 1944, Chinese-origin billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi has his name in Forbes’ June ratings as the third richest in Thailand with a total asset estimated at US$11.3 billion.
