China – the largest market fruit and vegetable consumption in Vietnam in October was 27.61 % decline in turnover , but the whole 10 months has increased by 39.82 % over the same period , reaching U.S. $ 244.28 million , accounting for 27.94 % of total turnover . 2nd largest market is Japan reached U.S. $ 51.82 million in 10 months , accounting for 5.91 % , up 15.19 % ; 3rd U.S. market is 42.38 million, accounting for 4.83 % , up 34.75 % over the same period.

According to the Vietnam Fruit Association (Vinafruit), vegetables Vietnam has great potential for exports and demand forecasts world consumption of vegetables continue to rise from 3.5 to 5% / year, which set the industry 2013 export target of $ 1 billion.
